Congratulations to Mullins & Ganley's SBA Front Line Team!
July 11, 2014

The NYPD Emerald Society sends out congratulations to the entire SBA Front Line Team on their decisive reelection finalized on June 25. Led by two prominent Emeralds, in President Ed Mullins and Vice President Bob Ganley, the incumbents swept 88% of the total votes cast by active NYPD Sergeants. Their overwhelming mandate can be attributed to their highly regarded and most impressive track record since first being elected into office back in 2002. Ed Mullins and his team has actively and aggressively made the SBA one of the premier labor unions in the nation. While leading the 11,000 member organization, Mullins has steadfastly fought for the rights and benefits of all active as well as retired sergeants. Over the last 12 years there has been a great relationship shared by the NYPD Emerald Society and the SBA. Bob Ganley has long been a vital link between our organizations. In 2007 Ganley received our highest honor when he was named the NYPD Emerald Society's Irishman-of-the-Year in recognition of his valued service and contributions. We look forward to the next 4 years of continued mutual support and loyalty, long-shared by our 2 distinguished NYPD fraternities.
