2010 Tour of Ireland, Wales & London
August 6-16

Past President Jay Gerrity will lead an exciting path across the beautiful Irish landscape this summer. For Jay and his wife Mary Ann this will be their third venture into the "old sod" and they promise it will be a truly memorable time for all. The Irish cities and sites include Galway, Killarney, Kinsale, Cobh and Wexford with visits to the Cliffs of Moher, the Seven Lakes, and the Ring of Kerry. Travelers will also have ample free time to do their own exploring, shopping or relaxing. A ferry ride to Wales and the intriguing city of Cardiff includes a banquet style feast and an outing to an 11th century castle. The next day a motor coach ride brings the group to stops at the Roman Baths and the pre-historic ruins of Stonehenge. The day trip leads into the electrifying London night. In this legendary capital city there are countless offerings for the Emeralds to enjoy. Among the many places to see in the expansive metropolis are the Tower of London and the Crown Jewels. Again the group will have time to seek out their own adventures before ending with a dinner at a classic London restaurant, Simpson's at The Strand. So please consider taking a trip across the broad Atlantic with the NYPD Emeralds. You can rest a sure that there will be no strangers in this group by the trip's end. In fact we are sure new friendships will spring up before our assembly departs New York City. Throughout this 11 night journey good times will be shared and special moments will be treasured by all. For more on this wonderful vacation opportunity please contact the Gerrity's at (631) 595-2389.   More information
