The Moonshiners will be on stage and another exhilarating performance by our Pipes & Drums should rock the pier.

The extra large audience for this meeting certainly was well informed after the last speaker gave his final report. There are numerous events on our Emerald calendar for members to enjoy. Joe Keenan was busy working the crowd with his "Dollar Bucket". Each year Joe brings down a generous NYPD contribution to Police Week in DC. A visitor at this meeting was Rhode Island State Police Captain Darren Delaney. The Moonshiners Joe O'Brien accompanied Delaney for a few Irish songs, with his squeeze-box as the big guy belted out some of his favorites. The duo is always welcomed to put on an impromptu seisiun. After the meeting concluded a number of Emeralds stopped-in at the nearby Ryan Maguire's Ale House. The group enjoyed some pints and more great music from Delaney & O'Brien.
